Novozymes is closing the acquisition of Australian GroPep for AUD 100 million corresponding to DKK 394 million on a debt-free basis.

»The acquisition of GroPep will strengthen Novozymes’ position within recombinant ingredients for the biopharmaceutical industry, eventually enabling us to provide a broad platform of non-animal derived ingredients for cell cultures«, he added.
GroPep will be delisted from the Australian stock exchange on November 28. The company will change its name to Novozymes GroPep and will be included in Novozymes’ consolidated accounts as of the closing date.
